Rajendra Nath Lahiri Punyatithi
Today is December 17th. We honor the freedom fighter Rajendra Nath Lahiri (1901 – 1927) from India. He played a role, in the Hindustan Republican Association (HRA) and actively participated in various anti British activities such, as the Kakori Train Robbery and the Dakshineswar Bomb Incident.
At 26 years old, in Gonda Jail in Uttar Pradesh Rajendra Nath Lahiri met his end as a martyr, for Indias independence struggle; his bravery and determination continue to inspire generations to honor the fearless fighters for freedom.
Today we celebrate his memory with events and tributes, in Gonda where he spent his days.Lets pause for a moment to honor his courage and dedication to our country.
