Happy Diwali

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is one of the most celebrated festivals in India. It is popularly called the “Festival of Lights” because people illuminate their homes, streets, and workplaces with diyas (oil lamps), candles, and decorative lights. Diwali marks the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. The festival usually spans five days and includes traditions such as cleaning homes, exchanging gifts, wearing new clothes, performing religious rituals, and sharing sweets with family and friends. People also worship Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and Lord Ganesha for prosperity and wisdom. Diwali brings joy, togetherness, and a sense of renewal, making it one of the happiest times of the year.
