Kakori Kand

Kakori Kand was a brave act by Indian revolutionaries on 9 August 1925. Members of the Hindustan Republican Association, including Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, and Chandrashekhar Azad, stopped a train near Kakori, Uttar Pradesh, and took government money to fund the freedom struggle. It became a symbol of courage and sacrifice in India’s fight for independence.
