Fourth Monday of Sawan 2025 : 4th August

Sawan (Shravan) month is one of the holiest months in the Hindu calendar, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva.

Mondays in Sawan, called Sawan Somvar, hold special spiritual significance.

The Fourth Monday is important because it’s believed that by this time, devotees have completed most of their fasts or rituals, and Lord Shiva blesses them with peace, prosperity, and fulfillment of wishes.

Many people perform Rudrabhishek, offer Bel Patra, milk, and water from the Ganga to the Shivling, and chant “Om Namah Shivaya.”
