Chhoti Diwali, also known as Naraka Chaturdashi, is celebrated a day before the main Diwali festival. It marks the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. People wake up early, take a ritualistic oil bath, decorate their homes with lamps and rangoli, and burst firecrackers in the evening. It is a day of joy, family gatherings, and spiritual cleansing. Chhoti Diwali holds cultural significance and is an important part of the five-day Diwali celebrations across India.
