About Budha Pradosh Vrat
Budha Pradosh Vrat is a Hindu observance dedicated to Lord Shiva and is observed on Pradosh Vrat (the 13th day of every lunar fortnight) that falls on Wednesday (Budha). Devotees observe fasting from sunrise to sunset and offer prayers, milk, and bel (bilva) leaves to Lord Shiva. This vrat is believed to bring prosperity, happiness, and relief from sins. People also chant Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra and perform special rituals at Shiva temples. Observing Budha Pradosh Vrat is considered highly auspicious for spiritual growth, health, and overall well-being.
