World Kidney Day – 14 March

World Kidney Day is an annual global awareness campaign observed on the second Thursday of March, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of kidney health and reducing the impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide. This initiative aims to highlight the importance of early detection and prevention of kidney disease, as well as promoting access to proper healthcare and education regarding kidney health. The campaign is a joint effort of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations (IFKF).
