Every year on May 31st, the world observes World No Tobacco Day or Anti-tobacco Day. The World Health Organization (WHO) organises various events to educate people about the dangers of tobacco use. Every year, seven million people die as a result of diseases caused by tobacco consumption.

Tobacco use causes cancer, tooth decay and cardiovascular disease, among other complications. The day aims to reduce global tobacco consumption and to develop policies to do so. Embrace healthy life by saying NO to tobacco.
