Sukhdev Thapar (15 May 1907 – 23 March 1931) was an Indian revolutionary & freedom fighter who fought for India’s independence and sacrificed his life for our country. His father’s name was Ramlal Thapar and mother’s name was Ralli Devi. Sukhdev was a member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). Sukhdev started an organisation, ‘Naujawan Bharat Sabha’ at Lahore to attract youths. He is particularly known for his involvement in the Lahore conspiracy that took place on 18th December 1928. India will never forget his courage and sacrifice.
