The Hindu communities celebrate Rathyatra’s procession every year on 1st July. The grand procession is led by beautiful deity chariots. It includes three chariots carrying statues of three deities. Devotees may be able to see the deities. The procession draws a large crowd. People join the procession religiously and consider themselves fortunate to attend it.

Chariots are decorated with flowers and carried out with beautiful idols of deities. Lord Jagannath idol sits on a huge Chariot and along with Balbhadra and Subhadra Chariot, the three deities travel to the Gundicha Temple. After seven days the chariots are returned back to their place. It is a celebration of togetherness and happiness.
