Mother tongue means a language through which the people of a nation clearly express their ideas, thoughts, feelings and emotions. 21st February is celebrated as International Mother Language Day every year. UNESCO first declared it on November 17, 1999. Since then, it has been honoured each year. The main purpose of this day is to raise awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity around the world.
The people of the world pay homage to the martyrs. Indeed, we are proud of our heroic sons who have brought this honor to our nation. This day teaches us to be determined to fulfill the motives for which our heroic sons gave their lives.
