India is a land of celebrations and festivities. These festivals are a significance of happiness and culture. Different states have different cultures. One common thing in all these things is the fact that it spreads happiness and positivity around us. It also keeps us grounded with our culture. One such festival is Chhath Puja.

Chhath Puja is observed on Shukla Paksha of Kartik according to the Hindu calendar. In the Indian states of UP, Bihar, and Jharkhand, it is a significant celebration. People observe a three-day fast during this Puja. To seek their blessings, people worship Chhati Mata and sun.

The two primary Prasad of this puja are Khasta and Thekua. On the banks of rivers as well as other water bodies, Chhath Puja is performed. The rising sun and setting sun are worshiped during this puja. People who observe this fast are believed to have their prayers answered. Every year, people look forward to this puja and rejoice on this day.

Festivals should be celebrated enthusiastically since they provide us happiness. We repeat the same festivals every year, but we still anxiously wait for them. We plan it and celebrate it with our loved ones.
