After a long wait of 12 years Cartoon Network India (CNI) has has taken a momentous step for all Anime fans & shall air Dragon Ball Super (DBS) from 22nd May 2022 in localised languages Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
After the huge success of Dragon Ball Z aka DBZ (300 episodes & 13 tv films) – Hindi dubbed in India, aired between 2006-2010 by CNI, and many famous shows like Naruto, Beyblade etc Anime had completely stopped in India leaving The Indian Anime Community in lurch for better shows in the kids and teens category
Asia Pacific head – CNI : Mr Abhishek Dutta has created a historic revolution in Indian Anime and has managed to get DBS under its wings with the promise to get many other Anime shows too if this one succeeds. He was convinced and promoted by the famous Indian voice Actor Ankur Javeri the Official Hindi voice of the iconic character Goku in DBZ. In fact Ankur Javeri has done various awareness activities for not just this show but for the entire Anime gamut to come to India. He was ably aided by the Dubbing Director of Titanic & DBZ Seaon Dcosta & various artists
The ecstatic Anime Community is thankful to their real life Heros & is looking forward to a great start for the Indian Anime fraternity.
