He was born in 1893 to a Brahmin family in Pune. He was one of the most important Indian freedom fighters. He’s orginal name was Ramchandra Panduranga. He was a strong supporter of Nana Saheb, and a close acquaintance with the Rani Lakshmibai. He fought valiantly for the Marathas. He was a Martyr of this revolt.
