– Maulana Abul Kalam Azad

In India, we take great pride in remembering the historical figures who made our nation what it is today. Among such names is Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

The first education minister of independent India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, was born on November 11, which has been recognised as National Education Day annually since 2008.

He made a significant contribution towards the nation’s educational system. The UGC, AICTE, Kharagpur Institute of Higher Education, University Education Commission, and Secondary Education Commission were all established during his tenure.

Every year, the day is commemorated in schools by holding a variety of engaging and informative seminars, symposia, essay-writing contests, rallies, etc. Together students and teachers discuss the value of the day also serves as a tribute to Maulana Abul Azad’s significant contributions to India’s independent education system and the nation’s dedication to all aspects of education.

The development of both individuals and nations depends on education. As much as we can, we must educate and learn.
