International Nurses Day is celebrated on 12th May every year. It is celebrated around the world to pay respect to all the nurses for their work and dedication. It is the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. It is an important event for all our nurses. The day was finally declared as International Nurses Day in January 1974.
The celebration of this day aims to highlight the importance of nurses towards the patients treatment in the healthcare industry.
