About Maasik Shivratri
Maasik Shivratri is a monthly Hindu observance dedicated to Lord Shiva, celebrated on the fourteenth day (Chaturdashi) of the dark fortnight of every lunar month. Devotees observe fasts from morning to night, offer bilva leaves, milk, and fruits to Lord Shiva, and perform special prayers and night-long vigils at Shiva temples. Observing Maasik Shivratri is believed to bring spiritual growth, prosperity, and relief from sins, and it strengthens devotion and faith in Lord Shiva.
