About Navratri
Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine forms, celebrated with devotion, fasting, prayers, and cultural events like Garba and Dandiya. Observed mainly in September–October, it signifies the victory of good over evil, as Goddess Durga defeated the demon Mahishasura. Each day is devoted to a different form of the goddess, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and protection, and the festival culminates in Durga Puja in Eastern India and Dussehra in the North, making it both a spiritual and cultural celebration of energy, devotion, and togetherness.
नवरात्रि एक नौ दिवसीय हिंदू पर्व है जो माँ दुर्गा और उनके नौ रूपों की आराधना को समर्पित है। यह पर्व आमतौर पर सितंबर–अक्टूबर में मनाया जाता है और इसमें भक्त उपवास, पूजा-अर्चना, भजन-कीर्तन तथा गरबा और डांडिया जैसे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हैं। नवरात्रि अच्छाई पर बुराई की विजय का प्रतीक है, जब माँ दुर्गा ने महिषासुर राक्षस का वध किया था। प्रत्येक दिन देवी के एक अलग स्वरूप की पूजा की जाती है और यह पर्व पूर्वी भारत में दुर्गा पूजा तथा उत्तर भारत में दशहरे के रूप में संपन्न होता है, जो श्रद्धा, शक्ति और उत्सव का अद्भुत संगम है।
