Usha Arghay/ Paaran
The fourth and final day of Chhath Mahaparv is celebrated as Usha Arghya. On this day, devotees offer prayers and water to the rising Sun, symbolizing gratitude for health, prosperity, and positive energy. This moment is considered the most sacred in the entire festival. After offering the Arghya, devotees conclude their fast — a ritual known as Paaran. During Paaran, they break their fast with offerings such as thekua, jaggery, and fruits as prasad. The rituals of Usha Arghya and Paaran signify purity, self-discipline, and harmony with nature, marking the peaceful conclusion of the four-day-long Chhath festival.
